Production Monitoring
Every run passes and your returns keep climbing. Two ways to see what a pass hides: the same measured points tracked run over run, or a professional on site full-time.

Understanding the Service
What Is Production Monitoring?
A pass/fail verdict can't show a dimension creeping over nine runs. Entry — the same named inspector attends each run, measures the same fixed points, and compares run nine back to run one, so movement shows even when every shipment passes. Premium — a TruMark quality professional inside the factory full-time.
The drift this is built to catch has a name: quality fade — how a supplier moves away from the approved sample run by run while every individual inspection still passes.
A consumer electronics brand was running monthly PSI and still seeing 4.2% defects. We placed a monitor in the factory full-time. What the monitor found was daily process drift the monthly visit kept missing. Ninety days later the defect rate was 0.8%.

Which Tier
Which Tier Do You Need?
Entry tier — repeat orders, same factory
Entry tier — reports pass but returns keep rising
Premium tier — 10,000+ units a month
Premium tier — safety-critical products on the line
Premium tier — daily on-site presence
Process
How It Works
How both tiers run, in five steps.
01
Agree the Points
Five to fifteen dimensions, weights, materials or components, chosen with you and then fixed.
02
Assign the Inspector
The same named inspector is assigned to your account, so the same eyes see every run.
03
Measure Every Run
Entry tier: every scheduled run. Premium tier: every day, with a professional on site full-time.
04
Track the Movement
Each point is compared back to run one, not only to the last run, and movement is flagged.
05
Review and Act
Movement is summarised in writing. The premium tier adds monthly reviews and corrective action plans.

Dimensional variance — 2 units exceeded ±0.3 mm tolerance on housing width. Classified as Major per ISO 2859-1.
Functional test — all sampled units passed power-on and full cycle test. No defects found.

Honest Answers to Tough Questions
If you order repeatedly from the same factory and want to see movement between runs, start with the drift record. If production runs continuously and you need someone in the building every day, that is the embedded professional.
You get a verdict per inspection. What the drift record adds is comparability: the same points, measured the same way, compared back to run one rather than only to the last run. The premium tier adds daily presence on top.
Defect rates dropped from 4.2% to 0.8% within 90 days of continuous monitoring.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Per programme. The number of runs a year, the number of measured points and how many factories are involved all change the work, so we quote against your production schedule rather than publish one figure. The premium tier is $2,500 per month, per placement.
Premium placements run on a 3-month minimum so the baseline assessment and first improvement cycle have time to take effect. The entry tier runs for as many production runs as you schedule — the record only becomes useful once there are several.
On the premium tier, yes: daily quality status and weekly trend dashboards are pushed to your portal, and critical issues trigger real-time alerts. On the entry tier you receive the report after each run, plus the updated measurement record.
Reputable factories welcome it — continuous oversight helps them hit your targets and keep the contract. We arrange access as part of onboarding and, if a supplier resists, treat that as a red flag worth discussing before you scale the order.
