We recommend a 0 / 2.5 / 4.0 plan as standard: zero tolerance for critical safety and function failures, 2.5 for major defects, and 4.0 for minor cosmetic issues. For premium fashion labels we tighten the minor threshold to 2.5 so subtle shade and finish variations are caught before they reach the shelf.
Our textile protocol runs colorfastness checks for rubbing (crocking), washing, and light exposure, graded on the standard grey scale. Cross-batch color is compared under D65 lighting and matched against your approved Pantone swatch, so shade drift between production lots is flagged before shipment.
Yes. Every garment inspection includes needle detection to catch broken needle fragments and other metal contaminants — a critical safety step for children's wear and any garment worn against the skin. We also verify the factory's own needle-control policy is being followed on the line.
Cross-batch color matching is standard in every TruMark textile inspection. We compare units from each production batch side by side under D65 lighting and measure Delta E against the approved standard, so a supplier switching dye lots or dye suppliers mid-run cannot ship inconsistent color undetected.
