Structural load testing is non-negotiable: static, dynamic, and stability loading to catch weak joints and frames that pass a visual check but fail in use. We also run tip-over resistance (ASTM F2057), joint integrity pull/torque tests, drawer-slide cycling, dimensional accuracy, surface-finish inspection under raking light, and formaldehyde emission verification.
We use calibrated load-testing equipment to apply rated static and cyclic loads to seats, tabletops, shelves, and frames, then verify joints with pull and torque tests. For case goods and storage we check adhesive curing and hardware engagement, because a fast-drying adhesive can lose much of its bonding strength within months — a failure that only surfaces after shipment.
Yes. For engineered wood, MDF, and particle-board items we verify formaldehyde emissions against CARB Phase 2 / TSCA Title VI (US) and E1 / REACH limits (EU). Testing is coordinated through ISO 17025-accredited partner labs, and we confirm the correct compliance labeling is present on the packaging.
Furniture is damaged in transit as often as it is in production, so we assess packaging adequacy for the full journey: edge and corner protection, carton grade and size, internal cushioning, and drop-test survivability. We flag insufficient protection and wrong carton sizing before the container ships.
